The OSBA Associate Membership for young OS
Associate membership (currently £10 for 8 years) is available for all young OS who apply. Memberships are registered through the OSBA Office or via the OS Club if you sign on before leaving school.
The Old Salopian Business Association exists as a vehicle to enable Old Salopians to discuss and promote business between each other and to offer its members support and advice.
OSBA’s membership is varied and rapidly expanding, covering most walks of business and professional life: finance, business and accounting, industry, engineering and architecture, law and other professions.
Full members (current fees £100 per year) enjoy the benefit of attendance at business meetings across the country and have their own posting on the OSBA website - with access to chat rooms, which hold details of job vacancies and OS associate members looking for gap year and holiday jobs, internships, placements and work experience.
The Undergraduate Initiative
The OSBA Undergraduate Initiative is designed to bring together younger members of the OSBA. It is designed to offer opportunities such as:
- Gap year or holiday work contacts
- Advice on job applications or interviews
- A connection in a particular field
- Advice on a possible career
You can use the OSBA website to post your own interests and requests, or get in touch by email or telephone.
This is a joint initiative between the School, the Old Salopian Club and OSBA and you can get ongoing help from all three.
Becoming an OSBA Associate Member
To sign up for Associate Membership go to the Register and Join section of this website and complete the online form. Please ensure you select the box for Associate Membership.
